Finally! Part 1.1. The start of the story!

Well, not quite. Yes, and no. This chapter is actually the end of the story. Yeah, I know, I’m doing that lame thing where the story starts at the end, and we go back in time to see how everyone got there… I’m sorry.

I quickly ran into difficulties with the story, as there has been no major KISSING CHAOS release in 3 years, meaning there are a lot of people out there who have not read one page of the printed series. So I decided that the opening chapter of KC:’TIL I DIE would be used to introduce all the relevant characters who are making a return from the printed page. That’s the gist of “The Party”.

First thing to note, is the time. They are at a party, it’s dark outside, and it’s 2:49. That 2:49 am.

Also, this comic features four characters, but serves to introduce Eric. We have Kim spying at Eric while she’s locking lips with Jersey. Ooohhh, the love triangle. Ashley comes by and consoles Eric, who is, kind of emo, saying the line that he does.

Ashley is the only character who is close friends with everyone in the series, so she’s well aware that there is this epic love battle going on between Eric and Jersey, and how it’s tearing Kim apart.

These four characters, Jersey, Kim, Ashley and Eric all first appeared in KISSING CHAOS: NONSTOP BEAUTY, the second volume of KC. Which I’m told was a bold move on my part. Doing a sequel to a somewhat popular comic, but using an entirely different cast. Yeah, I’m that stupid.
