okay. it’s been a few weeks with no update. Sorry folks. Here’s the next one!!! Guess the lyric and you get a prize!!

ON ANOTHER NOTE:

I’ve been working on some animation for a freelance client, and it really got me in the mood to do some personal amination or something.

So, just to get my feet wet, I think I’ll take a stab at animating one of the Kissing Chaos:’Til I Die strips. It might take a minute to find a voice actor, and get some music scored… but I’ll bust my ass to get this done!!

I’ll keep ya’ll posted!

okay. so it’s not friday. sue me. I was inspired and needed to do a warm up doodle study. And I heard a lyric today that was pretty emo, so here you go:

Here’s the first of a weekly blog post of emo lyric inspired doodles that I do to warm up for a hard day of drawing. I technically do this everyday, but given my less than perfect blogging record, I’ll keep it to Fridays. That’s the rule. Which is not to say that I won’t upload one of these bad bwoys on another day… non commital enough for ya?

So, I haven’t really drawn hardcore in a while, but I REALLY REALLY need to get back into it. Here are some rough artings from this morning. I need to spend more time warming up, cuz I need to be in zone when I do some pages…

the next pages I’m doing will be for my side project webcomic with my buddy Jason Loo, called THE 3 SECOND RULE.

hopefully, trying to watch Blood Diamond while drawing hasn’t sucked the creative life out of me..
